This will be PPH’s final Community Meeting and Briefing/Update before the City Council hearing. We’ll provide important updates and make sure residents know what to expect on October 14—including how to participate, what to bring and how we can make a strong, respectful showing at City Hall. 3 x 5 cards will be available at check-in for questions you would like addressed during the meeting.

The Preston-Royal zoning case, Z-26-000007, is currently Z1 on the Council agenda and is expected to be heard after 1:00 PM. Those planning to speak during Open Mic should be at City Hall by 9:00 AM, when Council begins.

Audience speeches for Open Mic and agenda testimony may be limited to 1–3 minutes, depending on Council’s direction that day.

WE NEED A STRONG SHOWING IN THE CHAMBERS!

You do NOT have to speak to make a difference. Your presence matters.

• Contact every City Council member and the Mayor by email and phone this week. Tell them you oppose the developer’s zoning-change request Reference Zoning Case Z-26-000007 in the subject line. Contact Dallas City Council & Mayor

• Contact District 13 Councilmember Gay Willis: 214-422-3763.

• Carpool with friends and neighbors. Surface and metered parking are available behind City Hall.

• If attending the zoning hearing, arrive by noon for the hearings that begin after 1:00 PM.

• Plan to stay until the Preston-Royal case is fully heard.

• Be courteous and respectful. No clapping or vocalizing.

You don’t have to give a speech. You don’t have to be an expert. But if you care about the future of our neighborhood, please show up.
